National data collection was initially designed to supplement the publication Energy Efficiency Indicators: Fundamentals on Statistics, and now it expands with separated collection of practices for collecting end-use data and developing energy efficiency indicators from a variety of OECD Members and non-Members.

Practices are searchable by country and territory, sector, methodology and attachment type. By sharing these experiences, we hope to help countries and organisations to develop their own energy efficiency indicators programmes.

Annual data from 2000 covering end-use energy consumption, now featuring end-use carbon emissions for the IEA member countries and beyond. The data is updated twice a year in mid-June and late November (or early December).
