Electricity Security Advisory Board 2024
About the workshop
The International Energy Agency (IEA) will host its Electricity Security Advisory Board (ESAB) on 17 Sep 2024 9:00 – 12:30.
ESAB is a high-level forum that explores trends in the power sector and corresponding threats as well as the role of power markets in electricity security and electricity decarbonisation.
This invitation-only meeting brings together policy makers, regulators, industry and academics to discuss best practices to meet emerging electricity security concerns and supports the formulation of electricity security policies. It also enables exchange between members of the IEA family on common challenges and lessons learned.
This in-person event combines introductory remarks by high-level speakers with interactive discussions, held under the Chatham House Rule.
The ESAB will be followed by the 11th annual IEA-EPRI Challenges in Electricity Decarbonisation workshop, which will deepen and broaden the discussion of some key electricity security topics.
