Paris Time Webinar

Policies for People – Best Practice in People-Centred Policymaking

Well-designed clean energy transition policies will have positive socio-economic impacts and can enhance energy access and affordability, while protecting low-income households and vulnerable populations.

Drawing on successful examples from around the world, this webinar will explore best practice in people centred clean energy transition policies. The webinar will specifically discuss how clean energy transitions can provide higher levels of access for income generating activities and how to address specific gender and youth needs. It will also look at the pricing of clean energy transitions, and how gains and losses can be shared throughout society to better serve the common good.

The webinar will inform the discussions of the Global Commission on People-Centred Clean Energy Transitions.

It will be livestreamed on the day of the event on this page.
