On September 1, the Council of Young Professionals of Mosmetrostroy organizations, together with the company management, traditionally visited the Rainbow Center for the Promotion of Family Education and held a festive event on Knowledge Day.
The center helps children who find themselves in difficult life situations find a home, care and family. Since 2015, the Moscow Metrostroy has been actively interacting with him and providing assistance to his students. This year the holiday was dedicated to sports and a healthy lifestyle.
In the first part of the event, relay races were organized for the children, in which the students were able to imagine themselves as professional athletes in various sports. The children played with interest in an impromptu hockey tournament, a football match and took part in rhythmic gymnastics competitions.
The main character of the second part of the event was a professional athlete, Thai boxing (Muay Thai) coach of the Moscow School of Martial Arts, Russian champion in Light Fight (a type of light martial arts) - Dmitry Nazolin. He conducted martial arts training for the students and showed by his example what it means “a healthy mind in a healthy body.” Children, even the youngest ones, repeated sports techniques with great enthusiasm and actively competed for the coach’s attention. For the most diligent student, Dmitry organized an individual mini-training.
The holiday in this format was held on Knowledge Day for the first time and was very memorable for the students and management of the center. After the event, the children received gifts from the management of the Moscow Metrostroy with wishes of success in the new academic year.
