There is a short break in Balabanovo, Kaluga region. Summer shifts are over, the guys have left for cities and schools.
For three summer months, a cozy forest place in the Kaluga region, located near the Istya River, received schoolchildren after the school year. During the season, the children's health camp “Young Metro Builder” welcomed over a thousand children from Moscow and the regions.
A special feature of this season was the interesting thematic shifts “METRO” and “PROcosmos” with educational and entertainment programs.
As part of the METRO shift, the guys filmed a short squad film with the story of Metro 2023. By interacting with professionals and creating, children learned to express their thoughts freely and accurately, developed vocals and choreography, and acquired teamwork skills.
The “PROcosmos” session was memorable for the schoolchildren because they themselves built and launched a rocket, studied English and became immersed in the romance of exploring distant planets.
In addition to thematic events, the children played sports, took part in quests, competitions, quizzes, and creative tasks. Much attention was paid to five meals a day - they were chosen to be balanced and varied, taking into account afternoon snacks and healthy snacks. There were clubs and interest groups for children. The recently opened open-air museum was especially popular.

The camp began its history in 1945. Throughout all this time, it has been the hallmark of Mosmetrostroy’s social activities and is widely known as one of the best children’s health camps.
