–“Young Metro Builder” is a cult place where more than one generation of metro builders rested. The recreation center was built in 1945 on the territory of the Pobeda state farm. In the year of the 90th anniversary of the Moscow Metrostroy, a large-scale reconstruction of all buildings was carried out, the territory was improved, which became significantly prettier. This year we plan to complete the construction of an indoor multifunctional club, which will also serve children,” said the general director of Mosmetrostroy JSCSergey Zhukov. – Throughout its 79-year history, the camp has been the hallmark of Mosmetrostroy’s social activities and is widely known as one of the best children’s health camps.
The recreation center is located in an ecologically clean area of the Kaluga region near the city of Balabanovo, in a forest on an area of 34 hectares, not far from the Istya River. On the territory there are two-story sleeping houses, a dining room, a staff building and a hotel, an indoor gym, comfortable rooms for clubs, and a medical block.
There is a football field, volleyball, basketball and squad events. The open-air museum with various metro builders' equipment is especially popular with children.
This summer, four thematic sessions “METRO” and “PROcosmos” with interesting educational and entertainment programs have been prepared for schoolchildren.
