First of four summer shifts started on June 1 at the “Young Metro Builder” children's health camp in the Kaluga region. The famous metrostroyevsky health resort received over 340 children from Moscow and Russian regions.
–You worked hard last school year, and now you can have a great rest! This year, over a thousand children aged 7 to 15 years old will come to “Young Metro Builder” - children from different parts of Russia. I hope that you will like the program that the organizers have prepared for you, that the time will fly by interestingly and cheerfully, and that strong friendships will begin between you, – said General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC Sergei Zhukov at the ceremony dedicated to the opening of the first shift.
This summer, four thematic sessions “Heroes of Our Time” and “Elementary, Watson” with interesting educational and entertainment programs have been prepared for schoolchildren.
–The program includes meetings with interesting people, quests and story games, team training, creative master classes, time management for children. We are waiting for everyone who finds the strength to break away from computer monitors for active recreation, live communication, moving forward and acquiring new skills,” noted the administration of the Young Metro Builder Children’s School.
“Young Metro Builder” is a well-known recreation center for metro builders, which opened back in 1945. Mosmetrostroy, at its own expense, reconstructed all the buildings and structures, and also landscaped the surrounding area. The current shift is the fourth after reconstruction.
Next year the legendary recreation center will celebrate its 80th anniversary. Today the health camp continues to expand. The construction of a multifunctional club for 300-400 people for conferences, quests and creative events is being completed on the territory. The facades and entrance group are already ready, the premises are being decorated and utilities are being laid.
