25 On November 2016, Gostiny Dvor hosted the V Anniversary International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Energy Development - ENES 2016.
The event was organized by the Moscow Government and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The Council of Young Professionals of Mosmetrostroy organizations not only took part in the Interactive session within the forum for the first time, but also won in one of the areas. The guys from the Active Council took the initiative “Modern energy-efficient mechanization in metro construction” in the direction of “Mining and Geological Exploration” and, in a bitter struggle among 6 teams, became the best.
In a few weeks, young specialists developed and prepared for presentation to the experts of the International Forum a project in which they talked about the successful experience of constructing deep metro stations, with the help of the new Station Layer US-01, designed and manufactured in 2015 by specialists from UMM JSC.
The project was based on practical data obtained as a result of the operation of the Station Layer US-01 during the construction of the deep station "Verkhniye Likhobory" of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line.
The young specialists were able to note a previously unexplored, but no less important advantage of the new generation paver compared to the most used today, but obsolete tunnel pavers - saving energy resources doubles, which means the energy efficiency of lining installation work doubles.
By introducing this initiative, the Council of Young Specialists proposed to continue work on the production of pavers of a new generation, which will replace the pavers of previous years, will help implement the plans of the Moscow Government for the construction of metro stations, reducing construction time, and will also help create safer underground conditions labor.
