9 On December 2016, the long-awaited holiday took place at the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Preparatory Department of the Children's Commissariat for Construction and Construction on Miussy - Young Builder's Day. It was here that everyone had to find out the names of the winners of the annual Professional Excellence Competition among young specialists from Moscow construction industry organizations. The competition was held on the basis of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering in four nominations: “The best team of young specialists in the field of civil engineering”, “The best team of young specialists in the field of road and transport construction”, “The best team of young specialists in the field of civil engineering” and, for the first time established this year, the nomination “The best team of young specialists in the field of underground construction”, in which the Mosmetrostroy team took part. The team consisted of three participants performing different roles: the design engineer of PKB Inzhproekt Marina Ivanenko acted as the designer, and the deputy. chief engineer of SMU-19 Metrostroy Boris Ukraintsev, and the role of occupational safety specialist went to occupational health and safety engineer of SMU-19 Metrostroy Yulia Voronina.
A total of 20 teams took part in the competition, which completed individual and team tasks during the competition. The competition was preceded by an correspondence stage, where participants were tested on their knowledge of the theory using a special computer system. The tasks are developed on the basis of real cases - objects that have already been implemented in Moscow. One of the conditions of the competition is a presentation for a round table on the issues of successful professional adaptation, career growth of a young specialist and the development of his professional competencies using the example of our organization. The jury awarded the presentation the maximum score and provided the opportunity for our team members to talk about their experience working in Mosmetrostroy and the organization as a whole during the face-to-face stage of the competition, as well as at the Young Builder Day in front of a large audience consisting of students from technical universities and colleges, young professionals and managers of leading construction organizations. Based on the results of the jury's work, the strongest in each of the nominations, both in the team and individual competitions, were determined. According to the results, our team took an honorable second place, losing in total points to Trasinzhstroy JSC; in the individual competition, Boris Ukraintsev was recognized as the best performer of work in the field of underground construction. Every year, young specialists from the largest organizations of the Moscow Construction Complex compete in the competition of professional skills, which is organized by the capital’s Department of Urban Development Policy on the basis of the National Research University MGSU, and it is very pleasant that our colleagues are among them.
Young Builder’s Day this year was dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the activities of the Council of Young Specialists of the Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow. Among the honored guests of the holiday were Valery Potsyapun, Head of the Civil Service and Personnel Department of the Department, Igor Ponomarev, Chairman of the Public Council of the Moscow Builders Veterans Foundation, Valery Laptev, Chairman of the Moscow City Committee of the Trade Union of Construction and Construction Materials Industry Workers.
The celebration, which began with the speech of the guests of honor and the report of the Council of Young Professionals, was soon replaced by a performance by the team "Rhythmosphere". The training with musical instruments not only helped the participants to tune in to a positive mood, but also allowed everyone present to feel like part of a large orchestra and pick up the general rhythm of the holiday. Next, the young specialists went into sections where interesting training sessions were held on a variety of topics. And having gathered again in the Assembly Hall, they became sites for another team training “woolteambuilding”, as a result of which the entire hall was entangled in threads of woolen balls, which each participant with the best wishes could send to anyone present, and using a real example showed that we are all “connected” to each other.
Young Builder Day ended with a festive concert, at which the participants, winners and prize-winners of the professional skills competition among young specialists from organizations in the construction industry of Moscow were awarded in 4 nominations in team and individual competitions.
The Council of Young Professionals congratulates our team on second place in the team competition according to the results of the Professional Skills Competition and personally Boris Ukraintsev with a well-deserved victory, and also expresses gratitude to the management of Mosmetrostroy and its organizations for their constant support and assistance.
