On April 15, 2017, the 2nd annual children’s sports festival “Start of Young Metro Builders” was held among the organizations of the Moscow Metro Construction at the Sports Palace of the State Budgetary Institution “Sports School of the Olympic Reserve “Moskvich” of Moskomsport. This event was organized and held by the Council of Young Professionals of the Mosmetrostroy JSC Group of Companies with the support of the Mosmetrostroy JSC management.
At 10:00, Moskvich opened its doors to register 80 children, 30 families and their fans. At exactly 11:00, to the sounds of a march, 4 teams entered the parade: Lions, Zebras, Hippos and Families. After the sounding of the anthems of Moscow and the Moscow Metrostroy, O.V. took the floor to greet the participants. Menshina – Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Corporate Relations, S.G. Steshenko is the head of the Terkom of Mosmetrostroy workers, and O.N. Melnikov, Deputy General Director, said the main words: “Consider “START OF YOUNG METROBUILDERS” open”!
The theme of the holiday was the construction of a new metro station “Madagascar”, on the island of the same name. The first stage was a competition between 3 teams of children, consisting of 5 competitions: “Hockey in the Tropics”, “Magic Pearls”, “Kangaroo”, “Tropical River” and “Mosmetrostroy Island”. At this stage, the Lions won, the Hippos came second and the Zebras took third place. Then there was a musical pause. During the summing up, the children mastered the flavor of the island's fiery dances. A few riddles about animals, and now the second stage has already arrived - “Family Relay Races”, in the “Mom, Dad, Me” format.
3 teams of families jumped with “Lianas”, “Caught Coconuts” and easily crossed the “Crossing”. 3rd place was taken by “Dexterous” - yellow, 2nd place by “Strong” - green and 1st by “Brave” - orange.
It is important to note that all competitions were held at a good sports pace and at a high organizational level. And the most pleasant thing was ahead - the award ceremony. All participants received bright certificates, as well as pleasant and useful prizes.
