This year, quite a lot of snow fell in Moscow and the Moscow region in winter, so the territory of the Olympic Training and Sports Center "Planernaya" has become a popular place for mass skiing.
Despite the wisdom of winter, on Saturday, February 7, at the Olympic training and sports center "Planernaya", Mosmetrostroy workers took part in the traditional large-scale sports festival - "Moscow Ski Track - 2026".
The territorial committee of the trade union of Mosmetrostroy workers organized a comfortable bus that transported participating athletes and fans from Tsvetnoy Boulevard and from Seligerskaya station to the Olympic training and sports Center "Planernaya".
Our team of metro builders included those who have been involved in skiing since their youth, as well as participants who live an active life, love sports and skiing, including children and veterans of the Moscow Metro builder.
More than 60 metro construction workers and their children took part in ski races, weight lifting, medicine ball throwing, and family competitions. The most active workers in Mosmetrostroy were the employees of SMU-8 - 12 participants and TO-6 - 11 amateur athletes. Participants also included employees of USR, SMS, SMU-24, SMU-6, MMS International, KSUM, Institute "INZHPROEKT", UMM, SMU-12, Terkom apparatus.
Supporting their athletes, the territorial committee of the Mosmetrostroy workers' trade union pitched a Metrostroy tent, in which they installed a heat generator for heating. Here you could not only change clothes and leave personal belongings, but also refresh yourself with Metrostroy’s signature pies with hot tea, coffee and sweets, or heat up porridge with stew in the microwave, which was distributed by the organizers of the holiday.
The winners were awarded cups, medals and certificates. And each of the participating kids also received a magnificent gift.
