On February 19, 2026, the Territorial Committee of the Trade Union of Moscow Metro Construction Workers invited metro construction workers to take part in a donor campaign organized by the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR) and the Central Military Clinical Hospital named after A.A. Vishnevsky.
The donor campaign was aimed at supporting the medical needs of military personnel who were injured during a special military operation and are being treated in a medical facility.
Mosmetrostroy workers participating in the donor action confirmed by their actions that the solidarity of trade unions extends not only to labor relations, but also to such important areas as medicine.
Donation is often called a “quiet feat.” Donors, following the call of their hearts, do a noble deed, donating a piece of themselves to those in need for free; it is not for nothing that in translation from Latin “donor” means “gift”, “donation”.
The organizers of the event expressed deep gratitude to all participants for their concern and active participation in the socially significant trade union initiative
