From October 8 to 14, the final stage of the comprehensive program of the Russian Trade Union of Railway Workers and Transport Builders “School of Young Trade Union Leaders - 2017” (SHMPL) took place in the Moscow region. Moscow Metrostroy was represented at the events by the Chairman of the Council of Young Professionals, Olga Kuleshova.

This year the event brought together not only trade union activists and young workers of ROSPROFZHEL from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, but also representatives of the railways of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Estonia.

Over the course of a week, more than 120 seminar participants completed a comprehensive program aimed at developing leadership potential, management skills and communication capabilities. Among the School's events are lectures and trainings on the management of social systems and the history of the trade union movement, sports competitions, intellectual battles, KVN, quizzes and much more.

One of the first points of the School’s program was a meeting with the first deputy chairman of the trade union, Sergei Chernov, and the heads of departments of the central committee of ROSPRONZHEL, at which the children asked questions to the specialists and also proposed ideas for the development of the trade union.

At the end of each day of training, the so-called “leader stars” were awarded. Among those who received this award is Olga Kuleshova, Chairman of the Council of Young Professionals of Mosmetrostroy. On October 12, students of the School took part in the IV Plenum of ROSPROFZHEL and a meeting with the chairman of the trade union Nikolai Nikiforov.

The final program of the School allowed the children not only to develop their leadership qualities, but also to make new friends, share ideas and exchange experience
