On January 13, 2018, in the Bitsa recreation area, a large sports event was held among construction organizations in Moscow - ski racing for the Opening Prize of the season. The competition was held to qualify for the 29th Moscow Builders Spartakiad.
13 teams, 130 participants, a large number of fans and a good track - these are the main indicators of the competition.
It is also worth noting that the preparation and level of the athletes was very high. The results of the top ten leaders were at the level of masters of sports and above.
The first place was taken by the DSK-1 team, the second overall team place by Mosgosexpertiza, and the third place by the Moskomstroyinvest team.
Our team took sixth place in the overall team competition; many strong Metrostroy athletes, who could compete with their opponents, doubted the track. The weather was snowless and the Alfa-Bitsa Sports Club confirmed their holding only two days before the competition.
But our skier Zoya Vasilyeva with a result of 0:17:22 received silver among women.
I would like to thank and note our athletes Andrey Ryabchenko, Nikolay Migunov, Vladimir Shindyaykin, Timur Kashin, Alexey Kozlov, Alexey Krylov.
