On January 18, 2018, at the Presidium of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, an Agreement on Cooperation and Partnership was signed between the Terkom of the Trade Union of Mosmetrostroy Workers and the City Committee of the Trade Union of Builders of Moscow.
In a solemn atmosphere, Sergei Grigorievich Steshenko and Valery Lavrentievich Laptev sealed the document with seals and signatures.
The agreement, recognizing the principle of equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of the parties, is aimed at developing social partnership with employers of the Moscow construction complex in resolving socio-economic issues, ensuring labor safety, increasing the social security of trade union members and motivation for membership in the trade union, interaction in the field of cultural, physical and recreational activities.
This initiative was highly appreciated by the Chairman of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions - Deputy of the Moscow City Duma Mikhail Ivanovich Antontsev. He congratulated on the conclusion of the Agreement, noted that this form of interaction between related trade union organizations was being tested for the first time, and expressed confidence that joining forces and partnership would lead to new achievements for the benefit of workers in the Moscow construction industry.
