On January 18, 2018, the V Plenum of the Committee of the ROO - Territorial Trade Union of Moscow Metrostroy Workers was held.
Among the guests was Vasily Grigorievich Lomakin, Deputy General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC.
In his speech, Lomakin informed the audience about the work carried out to renovate the dormitories of the Moscow Metro Construction organizations and about the work being carried out to restore the children's health camp “Young Metrostroyevets”, raised the issue of organizing hot meals at mines and construction sites and proposed to work on these issues locally. Vasily Grigorievich also touched upon the issue of the upcoming elections of the President of the Russian Federation.
The topic of elections was continued by the Chairman of the Terkom of the trade union of Mosmetrostroy workers, Sergei Grigorievich Steshenko, explaining the importance of conducting an information and campaign campaign “For active participation in the elections of the President of the Russian Federation” in Mosmetrostroy organizations.
The trade union territorial committee prepared and distributed information materials and methodological recommendations on the procedure and timing of the campaign campaign for the elections of the President of Russia.
A video was also shown and distributed about the importance of elections with explanations of how to vote at your actual location.
The chairmen are recommended to produce and place pre-election information materials locally, to work on the issue of holding meetings and other events in work collectives aimed at raising awareness among Moscow Metrostroy employees regarding their participation in the elections of the President of Russia.
Steshenko S.G. brought to the attention of those present the information that at the Presidium of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Terkom of the Trade Union of Mosmetrostroy workers and the City Committee of the Trade Union of Builders of Moscow. The agreement, recognizing the principle of equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of the parties, is aimed at developing social partnership between trade union organizations and employers of the Moscow construction complex in resolving socio-economic issues, ensuring labor protection, increasing the social security of trade union members and motivation for membership in the trade union, interaction in the field of cultural, physical and recreational activities.
At the Plenum, the annual financial report for 2017 was approved, and the estimate of income and expenses for 2018, the Regulations and the Work Plan were also reviewed and approved.
Another important issue was raised before the audience by the chief technical inspector of the Terkom of the trade union of Mosmetrostroy workers, Igor Nikolaevich Pantchev. Citing statistics on industrial injuries in organizations of the Moscow Metro Construction for the past year, he proposed timely adoption of the Agreement on Occupational Safety and Health for 2018 and work to improve the sanitary condition of meal rooms and equip them with the necessary devices.
