On January 27, the winter mini-football championship was held at the Spartak training stadium among organizations in the Moscow construction complex. The games took place outdoors, but on heated fields.
12 teams competed for victory in the championship. The first rivals of the Mosmetrostroy football players were athletes from Mosgorgeotrest. The outcome of the meeting was decided by a single and unanswered goal scored by our guys in the middle of the second half. It was enough for the metro builders to leave the group. A goalless draw with the second opponent, the DSK-1 team, was enough to advance to the semifinals.
There, Alexey Alexandrov and his comrades did not give any chance to the football players of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy to distinguish themselves. The result speaks for itself – 5:0. The last obstacle on the path to victory in the winter championship was the Mosgosexpertiza team. In the first half, they took the lead twice, but both times the Metro builders quickly came back. The situation on the field changed dramatically when it was time to change goals. The initiative completely passed to Alexandrov's team - in the second half the guys scored two unanswered goals. The result was a beautiful victory for Mosmetrostroy with a score of 4:2.
- Thanks to the athletes. They showed character - they were strong enough to turn the tide of the final game,” shared Alexey Alexandrov. - We played with a weakened squad, almost without replacements, as one player was out of action. Our motto: win not by numbers, but by skill!
