On December 1, 2017, the Young Builder’s Day was held at the Sozidatel cultural center. After the Gathering of Young Specialists in the Construction Industry of Moscow, this is the second largest event held by the Council of Young Specialists of the Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction of Moscow (SMC KSPS).
- Unlike last year, when Young Builder’s Day was held in a strict format of trainings and business games, this year the organizers decided to give participants a field for creativity. We set ourselves the goal of showing how versatile and talented young people are building the best city on earth, our Moscow,” said Alexander Sheremetyev, Chairman of the SMS KSPS.
And the first day of winter became truly hot when the Competition of Talented Youth began and bright and active representatives of the Construction Complex took to the stage to the Anthem of the Youth of Russia in uniforms with the symbols of their organization. The highlight of the program was the calling card of each participant - a pre-prepared creative number, where the guys showed their versatility and creativity: songs were replaced by reading poetry, and dancing was replaced by playing musical instruments and theatrical sketches. An unexpected challenge was an intellectual competition. Participants, demonstrating their erudition and ingenuity, had to answer 15 questions from different fields of knowledge in less than two minutes. At the final stage, the young talents presented the audience with a fashion show in evening dresses, where they showed that they are not only professionals in their field, but also bright and colorful personalities in the spotlight on the stage.
The Moscow Metrostroy was represented at the competition by the leading engineer of the production and economic management department Matsyuta Galina, who became the best according to the results of the audience vote and received well-deserved diplomas.
Metrostroy's awards did not end there - the results of the photo exhibition “Moscow Architecture. The ability to notice”, where the jury members noted the work of Natalia Ermakova, leading specialist of the HR and social development department of Mosmetrostroy JSC. Natalia was awarded an SMS letter of gratitude from the KSPS.
Members of the SMS KSPS were awarded for their personal contribution and improvement of youth policy, active participation in organizing and conducting events for young professionals of the Construction Complex. The head of the labor protection and industrial safety department of Tunnel Detachment No. 6 of Metrostroy LLC, the chairman of the council of young specialists of Mosmetrostroy JSC, Olga Kuleshova, was awarded a certificate of honor from the Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow, and the head of the HR and Social Development Department of Mosmetrostroy JSC, Natalya Krekova, was awarded a letter of thanks from the SMS KSPS.
Participants in the professional skills competition did not go unnoticed either. Moscow Metrostroy took part in the nomination “The best team of young specialists in the field of underground construction.” Dmitry Bazanov - PTO engineer of SMU-8 Metrostroy LLC, Dmitry Faizrakhmanov - site manager of SMU-8 Metrostroy LLC, Maria Abramova - deputy head of the HSE service of UMM CJSC and Natalya Sharokhina - deputy chief surveyor of TO-6 Metrostroy LLC, performed well at all stages of the competition and received well-deserved certificates of honor.
