In 2011, the children's metrostroyevskaya health resort was closed - an urgent replacement of worn-out communications was required. For almost four years, the camp was abandoned, until a decision was made to reconstruct it in March 2015. In the autumn of the same year, the commission, having examined the territory and buildings, approved a plan for the restoration of the “Young Metro Builder”. Builders began work in the summer of 2016. And already in the fall the first updated building was commissioned. Now two residential buildings and a medical center have already been put into operation.
On March 24, the leaders of Mosmetrostroy and company organizations, trade unionists visited the camp and got acquainted with the progress of the work being carried out. According to tradition, the Metro Construction flag was raised to friendly applause. And then General Director Sergei Zhukov cut the scarlet ribbon at the building of the medical isolation ward, where today offices have already been equipped, furniture has been arranged, and artists are working on the interior decor of the building, decorating the walls with characters from Soviet cartoons, among which Doctor Aibolit occupies a special place.
All the necessary furniture was delivered into ready-made buildings. One of them has sports equipment, tables for playing table tennis, and even rackets and balls.
Work is in full swing on the canteen building. The craftsmen take great care in decorating the walls, trying to preserve the drawings of the Soviet period in their original form.
On this day, an awards ceremony took place in the camp. The “Honored Worker of Metrostroy” badge was awarded to General Director Alexander Yakovlevich Bondarenko and foreman Olga Nikolaevna Zarubina from the USR. From MMC International - Deputy General Director Alexander Vladimirovich Golubchikov, Head of the Section Igor Yuryevich Chibisov and his Deputy Musa Abdulpataevich Musaev.
