On February 4, the XXI competition “Moscow Ski Track - 2018”, organized by the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, was held on the territory of the Olympic training and sports center “Planernaya”.
About 40 people from Mosmetrostroy took part in the mass race. The storm warning and incessant snowstorm did not frighten winter sports fans and professionals, amateurs, beginners, parents with children and veterans took to the start.
According to the organizers of the competition, in total this year about 18 thousand people took part in the mass race, the oldest of whom was 92 years old, and the youngest participant was not even three years old. The event was attended by famous political figures, representatives of trade union organizations, Olympic champions and sports veterans.
An entertaining animation was organized for all participants and guests of the Moscow Ski Track.
All adult participants ran a 10-kilometer distance, boys and girls ran a 5-kilometer race, and the youngest participants ran a 1-kilometer race.
All our athletes successfully completed the distance and received certificates of participation, and two young athletes also received sweet gifts.
