Meeting has become a traditional event at which young people, in an “open microphone” mode, have the opportunity to ask the most important and exciting questions to managers.
The event was also attended by First Deputy General Director Mikhail Yuryevich Arbuzov, Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Corporate Relations Oksana Vladimirovna Menshina and Chairman of the Terkom of the Trade Union of Mosmetrostroy Workers Sergey Grigorievich Steshenko.
According to tradition, the meeting began with an opening speech by the General Director. Sergey Anatolyevich spoke about the results of the group of companies’ work in the past year and long-term development plans in the coming year. He also noted that in 2017 a significant “background” was laid for future periods. 2018, without a doubt, is important for all of us, as in the coming months it is planned to open three new stations on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line: Okruzhnaya, Verkhniye Likhobor and Seligerskaya. It should be noted that this is the last deep launch site being built in Moscow.
After Sergei Anatolyevich’s speech, the floor was passed to the Chairman of the Council of Young Specialists of Moscow Metrostroy Organizations, Olga Kuleshova, who served in her duties until January 31, 2018. In her report on the work of the Council for 2017, Olga drew attention to the most striking and memorable events in which the guys from the Council participated. Particularly worth highlighting is the second annual Start of Young Metro Builders and the tenth anniversary Gathering of Young Specialists of the Moscow Construction Complex. It is impossible not to note the participation of the Mosmetrostroy team in the Professional Skills Competition among young specialists from organizations in the Moscow construction industry. Along with them, the Young Builder’s Day, held in the format of a “Talent Competition”, where our organization was also adequately represented.
All this suggests that the Council is a well-coordinated team, ready to support many ideas and work together towards the intended goal.
After the speech, Sergey Anatolyevich Zhukov and Oksana Vladimirovna Menshina awarded Olga a certificate of honor for her services to the formation of the Council and the development of youth policy.
Then the floor was passed to the new chairman of the Council of Young Professionals, Maria Abramova. Maria introduced the audience to a team of activists ready to lead the youth of Mosmetrostroy to new victories and achievements, and outlined the main tasks for 2018. The main ones are:
- further increasing the prestige of Mosmetrostroy and the Council of Young Professionals among young construction organizations;
- professional development of the company's young specialists;
- formation of an active life position among young people.
- The Council's work plan for 2018 has been developed and agreed upon. And, of course, to implement all the planned activities, we definitely need your help, your attention and your interest! We are young specialists from an organization with more than 85 years of history! The future of underground construction is ours!,” Maria noted in her report.
The Tertiary Committee of the Mosmetrostroy Workers’ Trade Union did not stand aside either. Sergey Grigorievich Steshenko spoke about successfully implemented events in 2017, plans and initiatives planned for 2018, and also outlined the importance of interaction between Terkom and the Council.
The third part of the event was traditionally dedicated to the “open microphone”. This year, in addition to traditional questions from the audience, young specialists who were not able to attend the meeting in person could record a video message to Sergei Anatolyevich. And these questions did not go unnoticed. The first person was asked various questions relating to production, economic indicators, and moral values.
I remember a question from Galina Maslova, an engineer of the planning and economic department of “Tunnel Detachment No. 6 of Metrostroy”: “What is the most valuable advice you have ever been given and what can you advise young specialists for a successful career?”.
Without hesitation, Sergei Anatolyevich answered: “I was advised to live according to my conscience, the same for you I wish.”
I would like to note that regardless of the topic and format of the questions asked, the young specialists received comprehensive and frank answers from Sergei Anatolyevich. I think that none of those present went unheard.
Following the meeting, Sergei Anatolyevich Zhukov wished the young specialists further success in their careers and encouraged them to join the ranks of active youth.
On behalf of the Council of Young Professionals, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the management of JSC Mosmetrostroy for supporting active youth, the opportunity to develop their own potential and self-realization in the professional and creative sphere. We are not going to stop there. We will continue to make our contribution to the development of social policy.
Together we can do a lot!
The brightest moments await us ahead!
Be the first, be with us!
