At the end of March, constant heating was connected to several rooms at once at the “Young Metro Builder” children's camp. The Chairman of the Territorial Committee of the Trade Union of Moscow Metro Construction Workers, Sergei Steshenko, spoke about this.
Batteries were activated in the canteen, medical isolation ward, administrative building and gym.
In addition, in the isolated and fenced area adjacent to the camp, Metro construction workers continue to install wastewater treatment facilities serving “Yuniy Metrostroyevets”.
“In total, there will be eight special reservoirs - containers for biological treatment,” explained S. Steshenko, “the issue of environmental safety will be removed. This, by the way, was one of the main complaints of the local sanitary and epidemiological services, because of which the camp was closed at one time.
Currently, the renovation of two buildings for sports personnel has been completed, the renovation of the library building and the reconstruction with further refurbishment of the old medical building are being completed.
When it gets a little warmer and the snow melts, the builders will complete the landscaping work, finish laying paving slabs, and install a fountain in the central square. Already in early June, the renewed camp should welcome its first guests.
