The theme of the event was the FIFA World Cup, which will be held in our country in 2018. The gym turned into a real stadium, where not only young participants, but also family teams of employees of the group of companies arrived. The first children's relay race of the competition - "Championship of Fairytale Countries" - involved little athletes from three magical countries of the Moscow Metrostroy planet: "Earthsea", "Lukomorye" and "Through the Looking Glass". And in the second relay - “Brave Football Players” - sports families: “Forwards”, “Defenders” and “Goalkeepers”. Little athletes were able to try themselves in the role of rising football stars, compete with each other and demonstrate their team qualities in family relay races.
In addition to the competition participants and their fans, the management of the Moscow Metrostroy was present at the event: Mikhail Yuryevich Arbuzov - First Deputy General Director, Vladimir Ivanovich Lapshin - Chief Engineer, Oleg Nikolaevich Melnikov - Deputy General Director, Oksana Vladimirovna Menshina - Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Corporate Relations, Sergey Grigorievich Steshenko - Head of the Terkom of Workers Mosmetrostroy. For the second year now, the chairman of the Council of Young Specialists of the Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow, Alexander Sheremetyev, has taken part in the sports festival. Alexander thanked for the invitation, and also noted that the organization of the competition and its conduct were at a high level.
“Today I received a lot of positive emotions, communicating with such active and happy children,” said Alexander Sheremetyev.
The relay races were fun, bright, dynamic, the happy faces of the children are a clear confirmation of this! And when the time came for the most long-awaited stage of the holiday - the awards ceremony, little athletes and families walked confidently to receive well-deserved gifts and memorable diplomas that were presented to them by their leaders! The most important thing is that “Starts” found recognition among the children: “And at our school, the award ceremony is not at all so fun... very boring!” .
