On May 26, 2018, the long-awaited annual charity event for children with disabilities, whose parents work in the construction industry of Moscow, took place on the territory of the Educational Complex of Urban Development "Capital". The action was timed to coincide with the upcoming holiday - International Children's Day. The organizer was the Council of Young Specialists of the Urban Development Policy and Construction Complex with the participation of the Councils of Young Specialists of Construction Industry Organizations. Activists of the Moscow Metrostroy Council took a direct part in the charity event, and Mosmetrostroy JSC acted as a partner of the event. In total, about 180 little builders took part in the holiday, and they were supported by volunteers - caring youth of the construction complex.

This year's theme was “Time Travel.” Various educational and developmental master classes and interactive sessions were organized for the participants. The children could visit a mobile planetarium, an area with face painting and twisting. The real medieval knights who attended the event simply could not leave the children indifferent. In a few hours, little travelers flew from the Middle Ages to the present.

Young specialists - our colleagues from the group of companies, in addition to the invaluable experience gained during preparation and conducting varied and interesting master classes, received a lot of positive emotions. The little participants were also happy. The joyful faces of the children and the gratitude of their parents are the surest confirmation of this. The holiday ended with volleys of paper fireworks and an impressive show of transformers.

We took part in this event with great pleasure. The holiday turned out to be truly bright. I think that we managed to give each child several hours of kindness, joy and memorable impressions.

Showing kindness is not at all difficult, because it lives in each of us.

Galina Maslova,
Deputy Chairman for the Social Sector of the Council of Young Professionals of Moscow Metrostroy Organizations
