Increased interest in the 2018 FIFA World Cup showed the massive love of Russians for this game. Football is becoming a national favorite sport. Companies, organizations and enterprises, following general trends, are making this sport popular and accessible, raising it to the level of social significance. Holding corporate football tournaments among various industry companies is becoming increasingly popular.
The management of Mosmetrostroy JSC pays great attention to the social sphere, the popularization of sports and a healthy lifestyle for its employees. Over the past years, the Moscow Metrostroy has its own football team, in which about twenty to thirty people train and play.
Every week, on Wednesdays, regardless of the time of year and weather, trainings are held at the Wings of the Soviets stadium, to which, without exception, any employee of the Mosmetrostroy group of companies who wants to play ball can come. During training, talented players are identified, and subsequently they are included in the national team that plays in friendly matches and regional corporate tournaments.
Conducts training Alexandrov Alexey Stanislavovich - Chairman of the Sports Club of Mosmetrostroy, who is the captain of the football team and actively participates in all training and tournament games.
It is worth noting that over the past two years our team has become a leader, consistently and confidently takes prizes among the teams in the construction industry of the city of Moscow and continues to grow.
“To be a happy person, and a man in particular, should feel “on top”, to be a winner,” shares Alexey Alexandrov, “and the feeling of sports victories is special, incomparable, and it doesn’t matter if it’s victory over one’s laziness, excess weight or victory over rivals, so every Wednesday at 19.00 I look forward to everyone’s training and, of course, I am very grateful to all those who are in the “ranks”, who defend the honor of Mosmetrostroy at sports tournaments.”
