Autumn The bad weather that came to the capital after a protracted Indian summer did not prevent the Moscow Marathon from being held. About 30 thousand people, despite the rain and wind, competed at distances of 10 and 42.2 kilometers. One of the participants in the competition was Ildar Akhmetzyanov. He dedicated his 10 km race to his father, who has been working in Mosmetrostroy for many years.
– In 1999, our whole family moved to Moscow from Donetsk, where dad worked as a miner for many years. Where to work in the capital? The choice fell on Mosmetrostroy, where my father got a job as a miner. Although he is 60, he still builds stations. Now this is “Nizhnyaya Maslovka” of the Big Ring, says the son of a metro builder.
Ildar himself was involved in sports from an early age and now works as a coach at a sports center, teaching children and adults acrobatics. The passion for running is also not new to him:
– At first it was at school and a sports institute, where before training camps we were forced to run long distances. Then morning jogging became an important part of military service.
Now Ildar is motivated by his family and his girlfriend.
“It’s great that there are those for whom you can get up in the morning and begin to overcome yourself,” he says. – My father did not give up when digging tunnels, and I am not going to give up in the face of difficulties.
A young man took part in the Moscow Marathon for the first time. At the same time, he is already planning to take a new personal record. Next year, Ildar is going to run a half marathon with his girlfriend. He will again dedicate this distance to his father.
Among the metro builders, the head of the HR department Natalya Krekova (10 km, 1 hour 07 minutes 28 seconds), engineer of Tunnel-2001 LLC Timur Kashin (42 km, 3 hours 29 minutes 29 seconds) and engineer of Institute Inzhproekt LLC Andrey took part in the marathon held in Moscow. Ryabchenko (42 km, 3 hours 45 minutes 25 seconds).
