The autumn sun is shining brightly, a lake with turquoise-blue water is hidden among the bushes. Slightly moving the branches with yellowing leaves in the light breeze, the birch trees bent over the water.
And suddenly, frightening the silence and autumn peace, a red rocket soared up with a rustle.
This is how the amateur fishing competition began, organized by the Terkom of the Trade Union of Mosmetrostroy Workers fishing.
For the third time, Terkom gathers members of the trade union for this exciting activity, and each time more and more fishermen take part in it. So this time, 86 amateur fishermen took their places on the coastline.
Having registered and taken the designated places, the participants began fishing. It should be noted that the requirements for fishing rules, prescribed in the Regulations developed by the organizing committee of the Terkom Trade Union, were quite strict, but this could not confuse the participants aimed at an honest win.
Not even half an hour had passed before the bite began, causing genuine excitement. An even greater surge of emotions, setting a fervent tone for the competition, was caused by the first fish caught by Alexander Velichko from JSC Metrogiprotrans.
Having completed the competition at the signal of the chief judge, the fishermen, teasing each other, stood in line to weigh and measure the catch. In the meantime, the panel of judges summed up the results, and enjoyed tasting the porridge from the field kitchen.
And, despite the pessimistic forecasts of some of our colleagues, who believe that it was too late to organize fishing in November, the results turned out to be successful.
In the “Biggest Catch” nomination, the winner was A. Velichko from JSC “Metrogiprotrans”, who caught the most carp and trout.
In the nomination “The Biggest Fish” the victory went to Andrey Yakushin from JSC “UMM”.
Although the organizers did not plan a nomination for the “Most Cohesive Team”, this title was rightfully earned by the team of fishermen and fans from LLC “Tunnel Squad No. 6”, who sincerely and amicably fought for the victory, helping each other and supporting.
Another winner spontaneously emerged - this is the team of SMU-9 Metrostroy LLC. The guys prepared the best fish soup, which was unanimously confirmed by all those present.
After the winners were awarded, prizes and cash awards from the Terkom Trade Union, the fishermen began to gather at home...
Yes, of course, not everyone was lucky. There were also those who did not manage to catch a single fish. But even such participants did not leave empty-handed.
Terkom of the Trade Union had a surprise in store for all fishermen and, regardless of the catch, gave each of the participants one carp weighing more than a kilogram, which added joy and good mood!
