Traditional The sports festival “Builders' Ski Track 2019” took place on February 16. The competitions took place on the territory of the Olympic training and sports center of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions “Planernaya”. Almost one and a half thousand employees of capital construction companies took part in the event.
The program included mandatory types of competitions (parade of participants and cross-country skiing) and optional ones (mini-football and family relay race). 22 organizations of the Moscow Construction Complex competed for prizes.
The judges assessed the parade based on three indicators - the number of participants, the best sports uniform, as well as the decoration of the column with flags, balloons, banners and branded emblems.
The family relay included three stages. The first, 500 meters long, was run by children under 13 years old. In the second, mothers continued to fight at a distance of one kilometer. The last to enter the race were the dads, who ran two kilometers. Three Metrostroy families took part in the group relay race - the Aleshkins (17th place), the Kozlovs (37th place), and the Ilyins (40th place). All children, regardless of their results, received medals, souvenirs and sweet gifts.
The competition continued with individual races. Women ran a 3 km distance in two age categories. In the senior group, among 12 participants, second place was taken by experienced Metrostroy athlete Zoya Vasilyeva from SMU-8. In the junior category, Nadezhda Starichenko brought points to our team.
For men, the distance was 5 km. In the group, which included athletes born in 1970 and younger, the company was represented by Denis Maslennikov. Georgy Ilyinykh participated in the senior category from Mosmetrostroy. Men also competed at a distance of 10 km. Here, Andrey Zemtsov from TO-6, the winner in the opening race of the 2019 Spartakiad, brought the company bronze. In the overall standings in skiing, Mosmetrostroy was fourth.
At the same time, there were mini-football competitions on snow according to the Olympic system. The halves lasted ten minutes. Each team has five people. Among 12 teams, our players shared 4th-6th place with MIP-Stroy No. 1 LLC and Mosgorgeotrest State Budgetary Institution.
Mosmetrostroy JSC took sixth place in the team competition. The first according to the results of all stages of the competition were participants from DSK-1.
