Passed final of the 30th Builders' Spartakiad. The series of sports competitions started back in January with cross-country skiing. On Moscow's birthday, 19 teams of construction organizations met at Luzhniki to compete for the title of the best.
The holiday began with a ceremonial parade. The participants lined up on the sunlit stadium field. Our team, wearing our signature bright burgundy uniform, proudly carried flags and banners with the company logo.
At the head of the column walked the standard bearer. Behind him, in baby carriages shaped like tunnel lining blocks, were carried the future little champions. Afterwards, a mascot walked along - a life-size doll of a metro builder with a jackhammer. Thorough preparation bore fruit: according to the results of the parade, our team won third place.
As soon as the Spartakiad flag was raised, awards were presented to the winners of its previous stage. Mosmetrostroy received the cup for third place.
Sports competitions took place in parallel at different venues. The family relay ended in second place for us. Silver was received by dartsmen led by Elena Inyutina from SMU-1 and Mosmetrostroy chess players - Sultan Dzhuspekov, Georgy Ilinykh, Aidar Enikeev.
The metro builders, who lifted weights and played tug of war, were a little short of reaching the coveted pedestal. Both of them took fourth place. The men's volleyball team is in sixth place in the tournament table.
Metrostroevskaya mini-football team struck gold.
“We try to distribute the load between matches, try combinations, try to play beautifully,” team captain Alexey Alexandrov shared the secrets of success.
According to preliminary results, in the overall standings of the finals of the 30th Builders' Spartakiad, Mosmetrostroy took second place.
