The traditional autumn swim took place on October 27 in the swimming pool of the MSTU sports complex named after N. Bauman. About 30 metro builders gathered to conquer the 50-meter distance.
The personal and team championship competitions were held as part of the Mosmetrostroy Spartakiad 2019. According to the conditions, it was possible to swim in any style. The number of participants in teams was not limited, and the three best results of the division were included in the standings.
The best among men was Nikita Shevchenko (Tunnel 2001). He covered the distance in 27.07 seconds. The second was Dmitry Tyurin (Tunnel-2001) with a time of 28.14, the third was Konstantin Shabalin (TO-6). His time was 29.86 seconds.
Among the women, Lidija Tudorovic (UMM) was the first to finish with a time of 49.09 seconds. Nadezhda Navrotskaya (SMU-6) conquered the second distance with a time of 49.50, third was Maria Goncharova (SMU-6), who swam in 1.00.92 seconds.
The winners of the swim were awarded medals, certificates and memorable gifts
10 teams took part in the team competition. According to the results, first place was taken by representatives of Tunnel 2001. Swimmers from TO-6 secured the second place. The team from UMM closed the top three.
After the starts, the athletes were able to swim for fun for a while.
