Despite the tense pre-launch rhythm, the metro athletes found the opportunity to devote Saturday to performing for the honor of their native team. 30 tournament participants gathered in the halls of hostel No. 21. Competitions were held simultaneously in two sports: checkers players fought in the spacious hall on the 12th floor, and the best shooters met in the Zdorovye gym.
It may seem strange that the same teams turned out to be winners in such different disciplines. In checkers, the first place was taken by the players of SMU-8, the second by SMU-25, and the third by KSUM. And in shooting: the first - SMU-25, the second - KSUM, the third - SMU-8. In fact, this result is quite natural: the teams of these groups were the most numerous. There were even two teams each for checkers SMU-25 and SMU-8. And KSUM competed even with the support of the younger generation: Katya Tovkach turned out to be a worthy opponent for adults and brought several victories to the team’s treasury.
The traditional friendly tea party, provided by the trade union, concluded the last of the competitions of the 2019 Spartakiad.
