The year began for SMU-9 Metrostroy LLC with two significant dates. In January, Igor Taranenko, who has headed the organization since 2007, celebrated his 55th anniversary. The company itself turned 15 on February 12. SMU-9 is engaged in the construction of enclosing structures, installation of various types of piles and fastening systems, development of pits and backfilling, work on soil freezing and dewatering, and drilling wells. Over the past five years, the team has worked at the Salaryevo station, the Fonvizinskaya lobby and the ventilation unit of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line. Now SMU-9 employees are involved in the reconstruction of the Filevskaya line, in the construction of the Rzhevskaya, Rubtsovskaya, Aviamotornaya and Lefortovo BKL stations.
