Both pavilions for passengers entering and exiting were operational at the Kuntsevskaya station of the Filevskaya line. The western lobby opened on June 1, and the eastern one became available two days later.
As part of the overhaul of ground stations on the Filyovskaya Line, the lobbies were completely renovated. Workers of the fifth section of SMU-1, under the leadership of Nikolai Pokutny, dismantled the main structures, replaced the foundations and installed new pavilions. The finishing was carried out by employees of the special works section of the same organization, headed by Sergei Alpatov. At the time of preparation of this publication, they continued to install engineering systems in the technical rooms before the commissioning of the facility.
The renovation of the lobbies lasted two years. For work in the operating metro, technological windows were used.
The Kuntsevskaya platform fully opened for passengers on March 18. From that moment on, traffic on the entire Filyovskaya line returned to normal. The Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya vestibule was used for entry and exit.
In the process of repair work at the station, the old platform was dismantled and a new one was poured, and granite was laid on the floor. The walls were insulated and lined with marble. New metal panels in gray and white tones were installed on the ceilings on a suspended system. The columns were lined with black granite. Some of them were performed on an aluminum frame, the rest - on cement-sand mortar. The columns in the area of the overpass of the State Unitary Enterprise "Gormost" were reinforced with a metal bandage.
