Installation of escalators at Verkhniye Likhobory metro station

Today, in the “It Was and Now” section, we are looking at the process of installing escalators at the new Verkhnie Likhobory metro station on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line.

The first photo shows the technological concrete steps that are located under the existing escalator. They are later used when inspecting or repairing the mechanism.

The second photo shows escalators that have already been installed, but are not operational. Builders will have to set them up, check for compliance with standards and, most importantly, ensure safe operation.

The third photo shows an already operating escalator at the Verkhniye Likhobory station.
