May 8, 2014. Initial version of tree finishing. According to the architects' idea, the color of the LED lamps was supposed to change depending on the season from warm to cold tones
The Troparevsky forest park, located nearby, inspired the architects to come up with an unusual design. A distinctive element and highlight were the decorative tree structures built into the floor. Their fabulous foliage, at the same time as being aesthetically pleasing, also serves as a lighting function.
Interestingly, the project initially included placing mirrors on the ceiling, as in the photo taken on May 8, 2014. But after installing the first tree, it became clear that the light was too bright and the structure was unsafe for passengers.
The project was revised, mirrors and lamps were dismantled. In the new project, the “crown” of the trees has changed shape. Its structure was fixed to the ceiling.
