The first photo shows the finishing work at the Kyiv station on the Circle Line. The photograph appeared in December 1953. The station received passengers on March 14, 1954. Its opening as part of the Belorusskaya - Park Kultury section closed the ring line. The second shot was taken more than 65 years later, in the present day.
The theme for the design of the station was the 300th anniversary of the reunification of Ukraine with Russia. The main decoration was 18 mosaic panels made according to sketches by the artist Alexander Myzin.
