Ano doo “the world of childhood” – 20 years of development

In 2001, on the basis of departmental kindergartens of Mosmetrostroy, the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Preschool Organization “World of Childhood” was formed, uniting seven kindergartens. The founder of the organization was KSUM.

Today we continue the traditions of the best Russian education and caring attitude towards children, we support the high level of the educational process established by the older generation of workers in Mosmetrostroy preschool institutions.

In 2003, the ANO preschool educational institution "World of Childhood", one of the first organizations among private kindergartens in the capital, received a perpetual license from the Moscow Department of Education, which gave the right to conduct educational activities and issue graduates with state-issued certificates of completion of the first stage of general education.

In 2011, the organization became a member of the World Organization for Preschool Education OMEP under the auspices of UNESCO, in 2016 the directors of the ANO preschool organization “World of Childhood” were elected President of the Russian OMEP Committee, and kindergartens, accordingly, became the main production pedagogical platform in Russia, broadcasting their experience to the international community.

During this period, a number of international projects were implemented on the basis of our branches. Thus, we are the developers of an advanced environmental project for sustainable development: “Ecological patrol “TSVETIK-SEMITSVETIK”. The project received 1st place in the competition among UNESCO Associated Schools, became the winner of the World Pedagogical Competition for Sustainable Development OMEP and laureate of the III National Prize for Children's Patriotic Creativity 2020.

In 2016, at the World of Childhood gardens, the first festival of children's creativity, Little Ambassador of the Big World, was held for the first time, which later became traditional. In 2019, the festival was marked by a welcoming speech from Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2020, the festival received a citywide scale, receiving support from the Moscow Mayor's Grant Fund. Currently, work is underway to edit the video version of the 2021 festival, which is organized in an online format and, of course, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the legendary Moscow Metro Construction: “Little Ambassador of the Big World. 2021 is the year of science and technology in Russia. Metro for all times."

In 2019, the organization was awarded the official status of a UNESCO Associated School. ANO Preschool World of Childhood is the curator of a number of international events: “World Handwashing Day”, “World Children’s Day”, etc.

Thanks to its active social position, effective work, and activities for the development of preschool education, the ANO preschool “World of Childhood” was included in the register of SONKOs (Socially Oriented Non-Profit Organizations), which became the basis for receiving government support during the difficult period of the pandemic.

We join everyone in congratulating the Moscow Metro Construction on its glorious anniversary. Thank you for the powerful foundation for the activities of our organization! And, of course, we congratulate our founder – KSUM JSC – on her 90th anniversary! Thank you for being with us all these years, supporting all our endeavors, understanding our difficulties and rejoicing with us in our successes. We wish you successful activities for many, many years to come.
