The holidays went with a bang
About 1,800 children, including from the families of metro builders, rested this summer at the “Young Metro Builder” health camp in the Kaluga region. In addition, on the eve of the fourth shift, the construction of the long-awaited children's creativity club was completed.
“If you want to know what else you can play besides computer games, come to us,” - all four summer shifts were held under this motto. Clubs were organized for the children in football, basketball, volleyball, drawing, public speaking, drawing on a 3D pen, and riding scooters. Each evening program was different from the other. For example, in the game “Detective with a Counselor,” children and the counselor jointly prepared a thematic skit or dance, and in “Guess the Melody,” the children played tracks backwards and had to guess their name. It turned out interesting and fun!
The coach of the Mosmetrostroy national team, an experienced football player, Alexey Alexandrov, conducted master classes and training sessions. And, of course, as without mini-football tournaments that ended in a penalty shootout. And friendship won!
The troops also visited the bird park, where they saw many different animals: peacocks, parrots and even ostriches!
Every shift, employees of the company came to “Young Metro Builder”, who talked about the history of the organization, metro construction professions, and showed unique photo chronicles. And, of course, we were talking about creating a legendary recreation center, which will celebrate its 80th anniversary next year. Children took part in exciting quizzes and received memorable gifts.
At the beginning of August in Balabanovo, on the site of the old club, the construction of a multifunctional spacious building was completed. The two-story club houses a transformable hall with 250 seats and utility rooms. If necessary, the seats can be removed and the room's capabilities can be expanded.
Young metro builders will rock the new club next summer. Participants in the construction were presented with certificates of honor to the applause of children, counselors and teachers.
