On April 16, a conference of the Mosmetrostroy labor collective was held to fulfill the obligations of the Collective Agreement of Moscow Metrostroy organizations for the reporting year 2020. The work was attended by 55 authorized delegates from 65 elected, heads of organizations of Mosmetrostroy JSC, chairmen of primary trade union organizations and guests of the conference.

Opening the meeting, Chairman of the Terkom of the Mosmetrostroy trade union Sergei Steshenko noted in his report that despite the difficult 2020, the mutual obligations assumed in the Collective Agreement were largely observed by the parties. These include issues of labor protection, and payment of wages, vacation pay, compensation and other issues related to labor and social relations.

In 2020, wages were indexed by 3%, the average wage of employees was 70,916 rubles. In most cases, vacation pay was paid on time before the start of the vacation. Employees working overtime were paid additional payments or given additional days off.

Last year, all organizations of Mosmetrostroy spent 155,772,000 rubles on labor protection, including 65,375,000 rubles for special personal protective equipment. Comprehensive inspections of conditions and labor protection, industrial and environmental safety were carried out regularly.

In 2020, there were 8 cases of industrial injuries, 4 severe and 4 mild. There were no fatalities recorded. Most of the cases were related to violations of safety regulations when working at heights and unsatisfactory maintenance of workplaces.

Medical examinations upon hiring and preventive medical examinations in 2020 were carried out in accordance with the established procedure. However, no voluntary health insurance was concluded in 2020.

The amount of financial assistance to employees of Mosmetrostroy JSC amounted to 10,000 - 15,000 rubles, and for trade union members additional payments were made from the funds of the trade union organization in the amount of up to 20,000 rubles. In order to improve the health of workers, the Trade Union Tercom continued the practice of concluding agreements with sanatoriums in the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Caucasian Mineral Waters.

KSUM faced new challenges in 2020. Dorm employees fought the spread of coronavirus infection. When cases of the disease were detected, rooms were transferred to quarantine, and in corridor-type dormitories – entire floors (150-200 people). As soon as possible, data on contact residents was transferred to Rospotrebnadzor, the premises were completely disinfected, round-the-clock food and isolation rooms were organized for the sick. Despite the difficult trials faced by the KSUM employees, there are no free places in the dormitories, the managers are accommodating workers, regardless of personal time, and work is underway to promptly register arriving foreign workers.

Due to restrictions in 2020, the sports life of metro construction workers has practically come to a standstill. The Mosmetrostroy sports club endured this situation with honor, did not lose the athletes and quickly restored the competition schedule. I would like to note that it was the Mosmetrostroy athletes who held the first online chess tournament in Moscow, and only then did this become a practice for other organizations.

Summing up the results of the Conference, the delegates unanimously adopted a Resolution, in which they confirmed that basically all the obligations assumed by both parties to the social partnership are being fulfilled.
