Little Ambassador of the Big World

On April 24, the Festival of Children's Talent and Pedagogical Discoveries “Little Ambassador of the Big World” was held for the seventh time. The event is held by the Russian Committee of the World Organization for Preschool Education OMEP under the auspices of UNESCO, whose president is Larisa Shevchenko, director of the ANO preschool “WORLD OF CHILDHOOD,” an organization founded on the basis of former Metrostroy kindergartens. The company always takes an active part in the life of this preschool institution, and the last event was no exception - Mosmetrostroy acted as its partner.

The festival is of significant importance in the field of preschool education and, as Deputy Minister of Education Denis Gribov noted in his welcome letter, is one of the brightest events of the Year of the Family. In 2024, more than 200 specialists from this field, as well as more than 80 families of kindergarteners, took part in it. Every year the event touches on important social topics, this time it was dedicated to the popularization and preservation of the cultural heritage of the native land and was called “Children and Fairy Tales”.

The most spectacular part of the program was the gala concert from the pupils of the “WORLD OF CHILDHOOD” kindergartens. In their colorful performances, the guys showed fairy tales from Russia and the world. For example, “Golden Fish” by Alexander Pushkin, the Tatar folk “Shurale”, the Uzbek “Magic Pomegranate”. The performances also included Russian dances, ditties, a dance composition with a Chinese dragon and a dance about friendship between Russia and Africa. Each production received a standing ovation, and the little actors received gifts, including teddy bears from Mosmetrostroy.

Chairman of the Terkom of the Trade Union of Mosmetrostroy Workers Sergei Steshenko noted that the concert was great, the costumes were made at a professional level.

– When you look at events where professional artists take part, you notice how refined their movements are, lined up in steps. Here it is perceived completely differently, much more touching,” Steshenko shared.

He congratulated the leaders of the ANO preschool “WORLD OF CHILDHOOD” - an organization that, according to him, has been doing great things for many years. Director Larisa Shevchenko and the heads of kindergartens received words of gratitude for the created atmosphere.

In addition to the concert, the festival included an exhibition of children's creativity, a poster section, and business programs where participants could share their experiences and ask questions to experts in the fields of preschool education and cultural heritage. An exhibition of the art project was also shown, where teachers from all over the country presented their original works - didactic dolls in national costumes.

Larisa Shevchenko said warm words to Mosmetrostroy for their help in holding the event: “I thank Mosmetrostroy and always position us as the company’s kindergartens. We have been organized since 2001, but we count our history from the founding of the Metrostroy Gardens in 1932. Mosmetrostroy is always with us, and we can rely on it.
