JSC “Mosmetrostroy” announced the end of the “One Day to the Front” campaign, within the framework of which company employees transferred funds to the trade union to help fighters on the front line. The total amount raised for victory in the special military operation exceeded 12 million rubles. “MS” tells where the funds will be spent.

At the end of last year, at a meeting of the labor collective under the leadership of the General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC Sergei Zhukov, it was decided that employees would transfer their wages for one day to a special account in the Mosmetrostroy trade union. The money was accumulated for a specific purpose and is now being distributed into four areas of assistance.
First – assistance to soldiers on the front line in Lugansk and its surroundings. They decided to spend three million rubles on the purchase of equipment and equipment for units of the people's militia - the defenders of our Motherland on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic. Efforts were joined with Moscow City Duma deputy Kirill Shchitov. The capital's parliamentarian met with Sergei Zhukov and Chairman of the Terekom of the company's trade union Sergei Steshenko in the management office on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.
At the meeting, requests from fighters of the LPR people's militia and the participation of Mosmetrostroy JSC in the financing of many items were discussed. Among the things needed at the front are drones, equipment for controlling them, including tablets and smartphones, equipment for fighters, and much more.
The purchase was timed for February 23. Sergei Zhukov and Kirill Shchitov agreed that at the end of February valuable parcels would be sent to the front line.
– I will deliver and personally hand it over to our soldiers! – Kirill Shchitov promised at the meeting. – For me, responsibility and the process of transferring collected humanitarian goods personally into the hands of the children are important. Those, in turn, through me can convey greetings to their relatives and talk about their needs at the front.
Assistance in accompanying the capital’s parliamentarian is provided by one of the largest volunteer organizations in our country - the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps.
Second direction is assistance to marine and reconnaissance brigades. The Mosmetrostroy trade union has direct contact with them. A list of necessary equipment has been received: field and vehicle radio stations, repeaters providing communications up to 50 km, quadcopters, etc. Suppliers of the necessary equipment are currently being selected.
Third the direction of assistance is the military clinical hospital, whose units are on the first line and are the first to receive soldiers to provide assistance.
On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, members of the Mosmetrostroy Veterans Council visited one of the branches of the Main Military Clinical Hospital named after. Burdenko. The wounded soldiers, participants in the special military operation, were presented with memorable souvenirs and other gifts from the Moscow Metrostroy.
Andfourth, and rather the most important direction, is targeted assistance to mobilized workers. JSC Mosmetrostroy and its employees help those who find themselves at the front in various hot spots. Today, 67 company employees are participating in the special military operation.
Warm clothes, shoes, special equipment, basic necessities, and consumables that are so needed on the front line are purchased for them.
“We keep in touch with them, finding out current needs,” noted Sergei Zhukov.
In addition, we must not forget about the support of relatives and friends of those whose husbands or fathers went to the front.
Kirill Shchitov promised to help Mosmetrostroy JSC in the delivery and collection of humanitarian aid for the company’s employees. Volunteers will form the cargo and send it to Donbass.
– I thank the entire team of the company and personally the General Director of Mosmetrostroy Sergei Zhukov for the support of our guys! We are together! – noted Kirill Shchitov.
– We are together, we will win! – summed up Sergei Zhukov.
