Sent gifts to children

Every year a small New Year tree appears in the lobby of the Mosmetrostroy Administration. It is decorated not with ordinary toys, but with childhood dreams. The dreams of children deprived of the usual family comfort and parental love. They are the ones who most urgently need attention during the holidays.

Each employee of our large organization has the opportunity to participate in a small miracle by making children’s wishes come true. This year the event helped make the dreams of the pupils of the Zubtsovsky orphanage come true.

Metro builders collected necessary things and gifts for children

The car with the collected valuable cargo set off from the Department building towards Tver on December 26. The boxes contain not sweets and toys, but items children need in everyday life, including household appliances, art and craft kits.

A little about the Zubtsovsky orphanage. It is located in the Tver region and has a family type of residence. The orphanage is cared for by the Button Children's Charitable Foundation. “More than sixty children with different destinies found shelter here. Some of them came here from dysfunctional families, some have no one left,” says Maria Zakharova, head of the Pugovka Foundation. – We try not only to help financially by donating the collected funds, but also to conduct educational activities. We conduct master classes and invite specialists in psychology and legal issues. We help children adapt to independent living.

By the way, Mosmetrostroy has been cooperating with Button since 2018. It was then that the first fundraising box was installed at the entrance to the Office. The cooperation was established thanks to the Deputy General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC Inna Zomberg.

– The Zubtsovsky orphanage is not the only one who receives assistance from the Button Charitable Foundation for Children. There are other children's institutions located in Russia, including beyond the Urals. The foundation selects orphanages where help is truly needed. The closer you are to Moscow, the fewer such people there are, as a rule. Help is provided strictly upon requests from orphanages. We donate what is needed for everyday needs,” clarified Inna Vladimirovna, who is a member of the fund’s board of trustees.
