The Moscow Metro Construction team supported the soldiers taking part in a special military operation. “Metrostroyevets” sums up all the actions in which the company was involved last year and talks about new projects. They have yet to be implemented.

Efforts were combined with the oldest city publication, “Evening Moscow”. In the fall, the newspaper’s editorial office announced a fundraiser, which was joined by the Moscow Metrostroy. They were sent to purchase various equipment for marines from the 61st brigade of the Northern Fleet. At the end of November, four quadcopters, a set of additional batteries and propellers, as well as a thermal imager and a thermal imaging sight were delivered to the guys on the front line.
“We collect through trade unions and thanks to voluntary donations from company employees,” said Sergei Zhukov, General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC. “We use the funds raised to buy warm clothes, quadcopters and much more. In addition, at the end of last year, the board of directors decided that all the wages earned in one day would be used to help our children. So that they continue to valiantly defend our borders.
In turn, the guys from the reconnaissance battalion of the 61st Marine Brigade of the Northern Fleet, after receiving an important parcel, expressed words of gratitude and recorded a video message to the metro builders.
In total, more than 100 sets of thermal underwear, two DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo quadcopters and a thermal imaging sight, collapsible mountaineering crampons, a box of socks collected by Vechernyaya Moskva readers, medicines, bandages, hemostatic tourniquets, as well as parts of equipment - three warbelts, three covers from body armor, pouches and camouflage.
In addition, last year the Moscow Metrostroy took part in a campaign to collect waste paper.
The employees handed over 2,862 kilograms, and decided to use the proceeds in the amount of 31,500 rubles to help the soldiers of the special military operation.
Additional funds were raised for our colleague, mechanical engineer at KSUM, and now captain of a separate anti-tank artillery division of military unit No. 33916 Denis Vdovenko. He and his fighters were sent a thermal imager, four night vision devices, as well as household and food supplies.
Refugees also received support. Back in the spring of 2022, the company took part in the “Moscow Helps” campaign. Workers of the Moscow Metrostroy collected over 80 different types of products and personal hygiene items for residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics. And by collaborating with the World of Childhood charity foundation, the company decided to support the families of those mobilized.
— We will be able to accept the children of those who went to the front into kindergartens under the jurisdiction of JSC Mosmetrostroy. We will organize a group of about 30 people. We will do all this free of charge,” said Sergei Zhukov.
