On September 1, Metro construction workers from the Council of Young Professionals, together with the HR and Social Development Department, visited the pupils of the Center for the Promotion of Family Education “Raduga” (CSSV “Raduga”) and organized a holiday for them with games and gifts.

The event took place outdoors on the territory of an orphanage in the Golyanovo region. After parting words from the director of the Raduga Center for Education and Science, Lyudmila Soboleva, and the Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Corporate Relations of Mosmetrostroy JSC, Oksana Menshina, as well as the welcoming dance of the children, a real intellectual battle began.
The quest called “Back to school” helped the children immerse themselves in educational subjects again. Knowledge from the fields of mathematics, chemistry and literature was required. The children were divided into three teams. The competition itself also consisted of three stages. Participants completed tasks by moving through “stations” with different objects, according to a pre-received scheme.
The competition ended with a dance flash mob for all those present. Afterwards, the children were treated to a sweet table and gifts - sportswear and shoes, which will come in handy in the new school year. In total, about 40 children aged 5 to 15 years took part in the holiday.

The authors of the quest are acting. Chairman of the Council of Young Professionals of Mosmetrostroy Organizations Galina Matsyuta and her deputy Alena Menshina, who also acted as the host of the event. CSSV "Raduga" was formed in 2013 through the merger of several institutions working with orphans. The center helps children in difficult life situations find a home, care and family. Currently, the center houses 54 pupils aged from 5 to 18 years. In addition, the center operates a “School of Adoptive Parents”.
The orphanage became sponsored by Mosmetrostroy back in 2015. Soon the Council of Young Professionals of our company actively joined in working with children. Traditionally, meetings are held with students several times a year.
As a rule, this happens around the New Year, Children's Day and Knowledge Day. Over the years, many events have been held for children: sports competitions, intellectual quests and other holiday programs.
