On April 13, the eighth annual children’s sports festival “Starts of Young Metro Builders” was held at the Moskvich Sports Palace of Moskomsport.
On this day, the most active and purposeful families of the Moscow Metrostroy gathered - young participants and their parents, who inspired children to sporting feats. This Saturday became a new bright page in the chronicle of the Moscow Metrostroy. The participants demonstrated not only their sporting achievements and team spirit, but also had fun and usefully spent their time.
When the first starts began, it became clear: this event would become a beacon of family sports for all metro builders. And now, eight years later, we can say with complete confidence that the test of time has taken place, and the atmosphere of the competition is invariably the same - joyful, friendly, overflowing with emotions.
The competition participants were greeted by the General Director of Mosmetrostroy JSC Sergey Zhukov and the Chairman of the ROO TPS of Mosmetrostroy workers Sergey Steshenko.
– Moscow Metrostroy is famous for its strong sports traditions. The company has compiled a sports calendar for the year for various sports. Today's starts are our traditional children's holiday. “I wish all participants sporting and personal achievements,” Sergei Zhukov admonished those gathered.
As you know, 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family, so it is no coincidence that the current holiday was united under the banner “Mom, Dad, I - the Metro Construction Family.” The cohesion of the teams was demonstrated in various competitions and relay races. First, children showed agility and coordination in relay races, and then family teams took to the field. In tasks with a wide variety of sports equipment, everyone was able to show ingenuity and team spirit.
As participants and spectators noted, this sports festival is confirmation that Mosmetrostroy invests a lot in the development and well-being of its employees, seeing their health and motivation as the key to a successful future.
There were no losers on this day. Everyone, whether a child or an adult, learned something important: a lesson in mutual assistance, support and self-belief.
Thanks to all the participants, organizers and, of course, the little athletes. “Starts of Young Metro Builders” again proved that we are one big, strong, athletic family!
