Knowledge is the power of dexterous and fast

The din, cheerful cries and the tramp of playful feet. These are the children of metro construction workers who came on April 15 to the Sports Palace of the State Budgetary Institution “SSHOR “Moskvich” Moskomsport”. Together with their parents, they took part in the seventh annual sports festival “Start of Young Metro Builders”.

The year of the teacher and mentor determined the theme of the event - “A fun journey to the land of knowledge.” The gymnasium was filled with red, green and blue T-shirts belonging to members of the Smarties, Knows and Wise Men teams.

In the first part of the competition, we “studied” mathematics, physics, chemistry and geography. The competitions in the “I want to know everything!” relay race were dedicated to these sciences. Everything went into use: fitballs, balls, jump ropes, inflatable rings. The participants brilliantly coped with the competition conditions, deftly skirting the cones.

In the heat of competition, caps flew off, and kids lost their way - they wanted to show that they could run faster and further than their rivals. But all the lost things were returned to their owners, and the stray participants returned to the obstacle course. Members of the Council of Young Specialists of the Moscow Metrostroy ensured that all those present received only good emotions.

The second part was held under the motto “The best in studies are the best in work!” Entire families were already fighting for the right to be first at the finish line.

– I really liked it! Most of all, it’s where parents ride on wheels,” said little Roman, the son of SMU-6 mechanic Albert Enikeev.

This is about the last competition, where for the first time in the history of Starts the Squirrel Wheel projectile was used. In the competition “My first tunneling” he imitated a tunnel-boring shield.

The starts took place in a cheerful, cheerful atmosphere. Children, their parents and fans received a powerful charge of energy and positivity. And as always, sport won!
