Where will the Sokolnikov staircases bkl lead

On Sokolnicheskaya Square, Stroymekhservice specialists completed the next stage of construction of the future Sokolniki station of the Big Circle Line (project name - Stromynka). On May 15, the excavation of the soil for the staircases leading to the underground lobbies was completed.

With the help of excavators, about 33 thousand cubic meters of rock were removed for three staircases. Two of them are located on the site of the future lobby No. 1. One of its stairs will take passengers from the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line to the Sokolnicheskaya Line. Along other steps you can go out into the city. Another gathering will be built in the second lobby.

“We started work on the third staircase at the end of April,” said Ilya Shevlyakov, head of section No. 2 of Stroymekhservice. – During the construction of the lobby, enclosing structures made of secant piles were installed. They were dismantled at the site adjacent to the future pedestrian crossing. This is done in order to arrange an exit in the future.

The pit for the future second staircase is also ready. SMS has work ahead on lobby No. 1. The excavation work is planned to be fully completed in July. After this, the teams will begin dismantling temporary reinforced concrete structures, backfilling the pits and subsequent landscaping of the territory adjacent to Sokolniki BKL.

“Only after this will we give way to landscaping specialists and workers who will lay out the paths with tiles,” summed up Ilya Shevlyakov.

Stroymekhservice specialists are also working at other metro stations under construction - “Rizhskaya” and “Maryina Roshcha” of the BCL, on the construction of an interchange between two “Aviamotorny” stations, reconstruction of the Kakhovskaya line, which will later become part of the BCL, as well as on the extension of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovsky radius.
