Half a century ago, the Pokrovsky Concrete Concrete Plant (PZZHBI) appeared in the Vladimir region. Since then, the enterprise has been growing and developing, and recently it has become one of the subsidiaries of the Moscow Metrostroy.
A memorial sign in honor of the 85th anniversary of Mosmetrostroy was installed on the territory of PZZHBI
The production activities of the Pokrovsky plant date back to the beginning of May 1970. By order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RSFSR, the enterprise began to fulfill an important state task to ensure the construction of biological complex and agricultural facilities. At that time, the plant's capacity was 42,000 m³ of reinforced concrete per year.
The plant kept up with the times, adapting to the current needs of the market. Thus, in response to the requests of builders, modernization was carried out in the 80s, during which the warehouse of finished products was expanded and the second stage of the reinforcement and molding shop was built. In its third span, a reinforcement department was organized, and in the fourth - the production of foundation wall blocks (FBS). This increased the annual production of reinforced concrete to 55,000 m³.
In the 90s, the Pokrovsky plant significantly reduced production volumes. This was influenced by the collapse of the USSR, the disintegration of the national economy, and a decrease in demand for products. Despite the difficult economic situation, the company survived, maintaining its specialization. In 2002, by decision of the owner, the plant was renamed. For the next six years it bore the name Stroytorgservis LLC.
The original name – LLC “Pokrovsky Plant of Reinforced Concrete Products” – was returned only in 2008. During the same period, a new page in the history of the enterprise began, connected with Mosmetrostroy.
The plant has launched the production of high-precision reinforced concrete lining for the construction of metro tunnels. The development of new products included full-scale technical and technological re-equipment. Within a year, without stopping existing production, the Elkon concrete mixing unit and a technological line for the production of tunnel lining blocks were installed and put into production at the enterprise.
Constant processes of modernization and organization of production, initiated by the management of Mosmetrostroy, implemented by the administration and engineers of the plant, made it possible to increase the production of lining rings by 2020 to 700 rings per month with an average staff of 380 people.
Such results were achieved in three stages of reconstruction carried out in recent years at PZZHBI. The first of them made it possible to increase productivity to 200 rings per month. On the second, we modernized the steam power system and purchased modern compressors, built a carousel line, and established targeted supply of concrete to the third span. This increased volumes to 350 rings per month. The third stage, which made it possible to reach a capacity of up to 700 rings per month, included the construction of the fifth span, warehouses for finished products and inert materials, as well as the construction of a concrete mixing unit (BSU) “Comcon” with targeted supply of concrete mixture to the first span.
Direct speech

Sergey Manannikov, General Director of Pokrovsky ZZHBI LLC:
“Over the years, the company has developed a good tradition of setting ambitious production goals, solving them, and not referring to objective problems and difficulties. We have many plans for the near future: to carry out restoration repairs of the load-bearing structures of the reinforcement and molding shop (AFS) in the conditions of an operating enterprise, overhaul of the plant’s power equipment in the switchgear of the switchgear and transformer substations of the transformer substations, as well as to expand the range of production of civil products for the local market. To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the enterprise, we plan to renovate the facades of the administrative building. As soon as circumstances allow, we will welcome guests, congratulate veterans and hold a football tournament on the new sports ground.”
