Assembled easily - like a designer

At site No. 17 in the area of the Okruzhnaya station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line, preparations for sinking an inclined passage continue. The Metrostroevets correspondent found out when the block layer will start working.

TO-6 employees are assembling the TNU-3 block layer

The escalator descent for the second exit to Okruzhnaya will be built using a TNU-3 tube layer. This tunnel will connect the station to the northern concourse. Its length will be 132 rings. The excavation will be carried out by specialists from section No. 1 of TO-6. They assembled the machine provided by UMM.

– The block stacker was assembled easily - like a construction set. Experienced electricians Alexey Androsov, Alexander Gorsky, Sergey Zhudin, Ashur Gazeev and Valery Lobanov worked, notes site manager Evgeny Korobov.

The machine, which has been installed for almost a month, is scheduled to be launched around December 10th. There is still a lot to do until then. Now all systems are connected to electricity. It is also necessary to prepare utility rooms - a spacer unit, compressor, fan and drainage stations.

As soon as the electricity supply is established, SMS specialists will begin freezing the soil around the future inclined passage. They will pour a special solution into the wells prepared in advance and begin the active phase of work.

Okruzhnaya opened in March 2018 in the Timiryazevsky district of Moscow. According to the project, there are two exits from the station - southern and northern. So far, passengers have access to only one, which leads to Gostinichny Proezd.

The northern exit will integrate the station into a large transport hub, connecting it with the Savyolovsky trains of the Moscow Railway, the Moscow Central Circle and the Aeroexpress to Sheremetyevo Airport.
