Ladies of the mine lift

Life is in full swing at the Suvorovskaya station again. The construction of auxiliary workings, approach adits, equipment of re-lifting chambers and restoration of the old mining complex are underway. A miniature woman, Tatyana Usanova, works here. This year is her anniversary - 30 years of shaft work on the mine surface. A Metrostroevets correspondent visited the overpass and found out how difficult it is to come to an agreement with a machine that is the same age as your experience.

There are stained glass windows and patterns on the window, a bench in the corner - the work of the trunks is not only in progress during the day, but also at night. The small room with the control panel is clean and tidy - a woman’s hand is immediately visible.
There are three of them in total, people at different heights, people ensuring the movement of this large machine: Tatyana, towering above everyone; stem in the yard; and the mine hoist operator in the engine room at ground level.

Communication between them is carried out via signals and radio. You need to be very careful, listen to every beep, count, because each signal has its own designation:

1 – Stop
2 – Cargo
3 – 0" horizon
4 – People
5 – Sick
6 – Exploder

Tatyana receives a signal from the mine, and she already sends it to the engine room. Or vice versa: if the cage comes from above, Tatyana already sends a signal to the Rudyard. Today, the cage is set in motion by Maria Bonareva, a labor veteran who has given Mosmetrostroy 37 years of experience. After making sure that everything is in order: the gratings are closed and the cams (special supports placed under the cage for stability) are removed, she begins the descent and ascent. This must be done simultaneously. The cages should not be at the same level, otherwise the cables may get tangled. If one is below, the second must remain at the top. If a problem occurs, the trunk gives a “stop” signal and the machine stops.

At the construction of the 13th Koltsevaya station, the 2Ts-2 model was installed. She is over 30 years old. And even though it does not have modern electronic sensors, as on younger models, it does not work as well as its masters, sometimes it breaks down (and they no longer make spare parts), and while a mechanic is repairing it, the builders have to go down on foot. As a result, it still “runs” and regularly lifts to the surface from a depth of 42 meters not only people, but also up to 60 trolleys of rock per day. And in the old days, its “sisters” of the same model managed two hundred.

Neither Tatyana nor Maria planned to connect their lives with professions in which they both remained for decades. Maria came to Mosmetrostroy to get a job as a painter, but mine hoisting operators turned out to be more needed and she was sent to the Technical School to learn new knowledge. She studied theory for four months and did practical work for two.

“And they immediately sent me to the “buttons,” recalls Tatyana. – They issued documentation and assigned a person who taught everything.

Before Metrostroy, Tatyana worked in an atelier in the city of Pushkino as a master of women’s clothing, but he did not survive the perestroika era. Fortunately, she met the shift foreman of SMU-1, and he called her to him. Since then, she was on both SMU-7 and SMU-8, until she got to SMU-6, where she remained.

The machine lifts and lowers not only people - loads, sand, concrete, tools - it can withstand almost everything, the rest is sent to the forest descent, which is also commanded by the mine hoist operator.
There is a lot of work. When the ground goes down, there is no time to rest. It is not enough to simply lift it. The trolley with the rock needs to be moved to a special platform, where the pusher will send it to the dump, and from there to the truck. All this is reminiscent of attractions with exciting turns and dizzying flips. Only instead of people, the earth rolls around here.

Tatyana says that she loves her job very much. He goes to the overpass as if he were going to a holiday. And she proudly notes that during all that time she didn’t have a single sick leave.

THIS IS INTERESTING

There are numbers hanging on the wall on the overpass. Going down into the mine, the builder turns over his token and takes the self-rescuer. Each person on their site has a personal one. This is necessary to keep track of those who left and returned, so that no one gets lost. Guests who do not have a number sign in a special journal.
